Peter Goodman | OK, this may have been one of the scariest & weirdest flights for me. 1) Reason for so much fuel left - I had to use X-Plane 11 fuel guide (flight was 2 hours 40ish so put in what it said for 3 hour 10 flight) for the 747 because OPIS was giving me a massive amount of fuel (the irony right there) for the flight and simbrief couldn't even find OPIS for me. 2) At around 150miles away from OPIS my autopilot decided to completely go mad on me and so I had to try and control the plane the rest of the way which was hard through the storm I was inside. 3) The first landing rate is correct..... I don't even know where that other landing rate of +7073.54fpm has come from hahahahaha. |
Peter Goodman | EDITED COMMENT OK, this may have been one of the scariest & weirdest flights for me. 1) Reason for so much fuel left - I had to use X-Plane 11 fuel guide (flight was 2 hours 40ish so put in what it said for 3 hour 10 flight) for the 747 because fuelplanner.com was telling me to use a massive amount of fuel (the irony right there) for the flight and simbrief couldn't even find OPIS for me. 2) At around 150miles away from OPIS my autopilot decided to completely go mad on me and so I had to try and control the plane the rest of the way which was hard through the storm I was inside. 3) The first landing rate is correct..... I don't even know where that other landing rate of +7073.54fpm has come from hahahahaha. |
Officially Retired | OPIS is the NEW airport. OPRN is the old ICAO which is why Simbrief couldn't find it. Simbrief still locates airports that are default in FSX/P3D. |
