Jim Cruse | Well, Joe, it looks like you had some trouble with this flight. And to fly for 13 hours and have all that trouble must be frustrating, to end up with a landing rate greater than -800fpm, which is our cut off point for accepting PIREPs. I'll discuss this with another manager, but for now, I'm going to have to reject the flight. Sorry about that. Jim Cruse | Okay Joe. I discussed the situation with some other managers, and I have decided to accept this PIREP. Be sure to get your landing rate below the required -800fpm. It may be better to try using a smaller aircraft until you are familiar with flaring the aircraft at the correct height versus aircraft weight. |
